What this site is
Rishikesh Homestays is a travel guide to Rishikesh and Haridwar. We also operate three stays of our own, which are shown first in our lists. All other stays are run by third parties. Read About us for how we list and order them.
Information on the site
We try to keep guides, stay descriptions, distances, timings and prices accurate, but details about third-party properties, transport, temple and aarti timings and events are as last checked and can change without notice. Prices shown as "starting from" are indicative. Please confirm anything important, such as availability, price, check-in rules and opening times, with the property or provider before you travel.
Bookings
For our own stays, a booking is a contract between you and us once we confirm it in writing or on WhatsApp. For every other stay, a booking is made between you and the property or the booking website you use (for example Booking.com). We are not a party to that contract, we do not handle your payment for it, and the property's own cancellation, refund and house rules apply.
Affiliate links
Some links on the site are affiliate links. If you book through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This does not change what we say about a property.
Enquiries and communication
When you send an enquiry you agree to give accurate details and allow us to contact you by phone, WhatsApp or email about it. Our handling of your data is described in the privacy policy.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site: no attempts to disrupt it, scrape it in bulk, submit false or abusive enquiries, or use it for anything unlawful.
Content and intellectual property
The text, layout and original images on this site belong to Rishikesh Homestays or are used with permission. You may share a link to any page. Please do not copy our content in bulk without asking first. Brand names and logos of third parties belong to their owners.
Third-party websites
We link to websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.
Limitation of liability
The site and its guides are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on the information here, from the acts or omissions of third-party properties, transport or activity providers, or from events outside our control such as weather, road closures, river conditions or yatra rules. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Adventure activities carry risk; follow the provider's safety instructions and your own judgement.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any mandatory rights you have as a consumer where you live.
