Who we are
Rishikesh Homestays is a travel guide to Rishikesh and Haridwar written by a small local team. Alongside the guides, we operate three stays of our own in Rishikesh, so the advice here comes from people who host guests in the town as well as write about it. You can reach us by phone or WhatsApp, or through the contact page.
What we do
We help travellers plan where to stay and what to do around Rishikesh and Haridwar. The site has guides on places to visit, things to do, Triveni Ghat, the Kedarnath Yatra and the Haridwar Kumbh 2027, plus driving guides from Delhi NCR and bike, car and taxi rental pages. If you want us to find you a stay, send an enquiry and we will suggest suitable options.
Our own homestays come first
We run three stays: Advaitam Ganga & Hill View Luxury 3BHK by Ganges Homestay, a three bedroom family stay in Nirmal Bagh near the Ganges; Elysium, a villa in Nirmal Bagh with Himalayan and Ganga views and room for morning yoga; and Yoga Retreat at the Ganges, a quiet stay near the Veerbhadra Temple. Our goal is for guests to book these directly with us, which is why they are always shown first.
How stays are listed and ordered
Our directory covers Rishikesh, Haridwar, Dehradun and Mussoorie. A place is listed only when we have found a real booking page for that exact property, never just a booking-site homepage. In every list the order is: our own stays first, then stays from brands we consider promising, then the other stays that have a booking link, and last the stays without one. Stays with a low guest rating from many reviews wait behind a "View all" button. The order is therefore not a review ranking and not a list of the best properties. It shows our own stays first and then places we can link to.
When you press "View property" we first ask for your name, phone and email so we can help you with the stay, then take you to the property's booking page. If more than one booking site is available you choose which one to use.

How we check information
Guides are written and reviewed by the team, and each guide shows the date it was last reviewed. Facts such as distances, timings and fees are checked when we write or update a page and marked with the month they were checked. Details about third-party stays come from their own booking pages and may change, so please confirm availability, price and rules with the property before you pay. If you spot a mistake, tell us through the report a bug page or the contact page and we will correct it.
